We are ISO 9001 2000 registered and currently hold the BS 7499 Quality Standard for Door Supervisors, BS 7499 Quality Standard for Static Manguarding, 
Retail Guarding & Mobile Security, and the BS 7984
Quality Standard for Key holding & Response.
We also hold the BS 7858 Quality Standard for
the screening and vetting of all our staff.

In our comfortable purpose built classroom located in our office headquarters, we supply quality training from fully qualified, experienced training to anyone looking to start in the security business or any company who wishes to use our training services to upgrade the qualifications of their current guards.
The courses we currently offer are as follows:
Security Guarding & Door Supervisors Course – SIA Accredited
Consisting of two units and completed over a 28 hour course. A course handbook will be sent to the guard before attending in order to familiarize them with the course material and facilitate easier learning. This handbook is for you to keep to be used as a future reference guide.

This course is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s society. This course teaches the techniques and practicalities of effectively and, most importantly, safely bringing a potentially harmful incident to a satisfactory conclusion. Our trainers for this course have first hand, wide ranging security experience upon which to draw their training from.
First Aid at Work
A one day Health and Safety Executive (HSE) certified course which includes up to date first aid practices & skills and illustrates the importance of workplace requirements once first aid has been administered.
This course includes topics such as:
Priorities of First Aid and its equipment
Duties of a First Aider
Giving First Aid
Basic Life Support
CPR
Treating wounds, fractures, dislocations,
burns & scalds
Treating shock
Fire Prevention and Basic Fire Fighting
A one day course which teaches fire behaviour and thus what we can to minimise the risk. The course looks at the causes of fire, inspection techniques and how to effectively fight a fire in the home or workplace whilst putting yourself in minimum danger. This is an excellent course for the safety minded who take fire prevention seriously.
Arrest and Plastic Restraint (APR) – APR™
Alpha Omega Securities are proud to offer this certified and fully insured training course in Arrest and Plastic Restraints. This is the latest tool in the fight against crime for the security officer who requires to detain an offender pending the arrival of the police.
This course will give you the knowledge to use plastic handcuffs safely and legally.
The course module consists of:
Knowing your power to detain an offender.
Learning when you can use the plastic restraints.
Understanding points of Law for various offences.
How to arrest legally & safely.
